Gum Arabic, also called Acacia Gum, is an emulsifying powerhouse! This natural, food-safe gum is obtained from the bark of the acacia tree. Used to thicken, emulsify and stabilize foods such as candy, ice cream, gelato and sweet syrups.
Used in cake decorating to make gum paste. Also used as an emulsifier and thickener in non-food applications such as cosmetics and water color paints. Gum Arabic powder is colorless, tasteless, odorless and dissolves easily in cold or warm water.
